A total delight! If you only visit one Flames, seek this one out. From the road it is not obvious, but walk along the side of it and you find the real entrance; it backs onto two enormous chateau's and is even part surrounded by a moat (dry at time of visit!). This was occupied by the French legionaires during part of WW1 and was probably why it was shelled.
