Commune : A reasonable sized ribbon development town in the region of Lorraine.

Co-ordinates: 48o 53' 17.82" N 05o 32' 32.06" E

This is the site of a number of offensives during WW1, both in the air and on the ground. It included a large American expeditionary force in 1918 (A huge 40 acre war cemetery is to be found here containing 4153 Americans). It also the site of the greatest air battle in WW1 in which 1476 allied planes took part!

The Flames itself is amazing even down to the trees!
